This morning I went to me study, hoping to get something amazing as I do every week, and I got this amazing story, I just had to share about rain
When the storm comes.. God is clutching onto me, and whispers,"We're gonna make it [Honey]. We're gonna make it! I love you. Daddy knows the way.":) A really wise girl once told me her lifes verse, "Let us not lean onto [our] own understanding, but trust God in
every way, and he will make [our] path strait."
You know sometimes we think,"If God really cares about me, then why would he put me threw this?!" Let me rewind a little bit: The man who spoke in this video, talked about his son. He was hiking with his 2year old on his back. It was a beautiful day. Sunny; no clouds; just beauty. In fact, so beautiful he said,"if I could freeze this moment in time, I would." He talked about how there was a terrible storm, and he had already gone far off from the camp. So he headed back, and as he was going, hes son started to cry and scream, for the storm was too great.
The man took him off of his lil "baby backpack" (what he carried him in), and held him tight and whispered,"Its going to be ok buddy! I love you! Daddy knows the way!" and held him close to his heart. Why is that important? because during that storm. He said that was the most amazing moment with his son, he will never forget. Its where he connected with his sons fear, and let him know,"Its going to be ok; Daddy knows the way!" Thats how we are with God. He says,"Honey were going to make it!" "I love you!" In those terrifying storms of life we get in. For God, those moments are the times we connect, and link with him the most<3We always need to remember, that during that crazy storm your in:
God is so much closer then you think<3
Until next time
